Job Description

Requirements

 

  1. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines.
  2. Able to undergo an internship for a minimum period of 3–6 months.
  3. Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, circuits and engineering principles.
  4. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, testing equipment and technical drawings will be an added advantage.
  5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  6. Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
  9. Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  10. Detail-oriented and able to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

 

  1. Assist engineers in daily engineering activities and technical assignments.
  2. Support troubleshooting and investigation of electrical and electronic-related issues involving manufacturing equipment and systems.
  3. Assist in equipment inspection, testing, maintenance and performance monitoring.
  4. Support engineering projects, equipment improvement and process optimization activities.
  5. Assist in collecting, analysing and documenting engineering data for technical evaluation.
  6. Participate in equipment installation, modification, testing and qualification activities.
  7. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, productivity and operational efficiency.
  8. Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation and project progress updates.
  9. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and other Engineering teams to support daily operations.
  10. Perform other engineering-related duties and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
