Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk / Executive to join our Accounts & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounts receivable transactions, reconciling sales and collections, monitoring outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts receivable transactions, including sales invoices, receipts, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Reconcile daily sales and collections from retail outlets.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare accounts receivable ageing reports, customer statements, and collection records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of collections.
• Liaise with retail outlets and relevant departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing and accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM, LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, ACCA Part 1, Degree in Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous accounting experience, particularly in the retail industry, will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with POS systems and various payment methods is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and responsible.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
