Job Description

Responsibilities

Paperspace Asia is seeking a Regional Client Development Manager to drive business growth across workplace strategy, design and project delivery.

This is a relationship-led sales role for someone who understands the corporate real estate and project ecosystem and can identify opportunities before they reach the formal tender stage.

You will develop regional client and industry relationships, initiate conversations, qualify opportunities and work with our design and project teams to secure new appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate occupiers, project managers, brokers, consultants, suppliers and industry partners across Singapore and regional markets.

Identify upcoming relocations, expansions, lease events and workplace transformation opportunities through networking and market intelligence.

Generate new client meetings through proactive outreach, introductions and referrals.

Understand prospective clients’ business objectives, workplace requirements and decision-making processes.

Qualify opportunities by assessing client needs, stakeholders, decision criteria, competition and commercial potential.

Work with the design, workplace strategy and project delivery teams to develop pursuit strategies, proposals and presentations that address clients’ business objectives.

Manage the commercial relationship and sales process from initial discovery through negotiation and final project appointment.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, track progress and provide sales forecasts.

Coordinate internal teams and follow up consistently to maintain momentum throughout each pursuit.

Requirements

At least 10 years of relevant sales or business development experience in corporate real estate, workplace design, commercial interiors, project management or a related industry.

An established network of clients and industry contacts across regional markets, beyond Singapore.

Demonstrated ability to generate qualified opportunities and convert them into secured projects.

Understanding of how corporate real estate and workplace projects are initiated, influenced, procured and awarded.

Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Confidence engaging senior decision-makers, leading client discussions and negotiating commercial terms.

A proactive and energetic approach, with a willingness to be hands-on in prospecting, networking and sales.

Flexibility to work across markets, adapt to different client requirements and collaborate with regional teams.

Sound commercial judgement and the ability to prioritise opportunities effectively.

Strong organisational skills and consistent follow-through from initial contact to project appointment.

Career Development and Performance

The role offers a pathway into commercial leadership, with the opportunity to progressively take ownership of Paperspace’s business development and sales function.

Performance will be assessed through the strength of industry relationships, quality of the opportunity pipeline, conversion of qualified opportunities, win rate and value of projects secured.
