Purpose of the Role

The Account Manager will report to the Senior Account Manager, managing the day-to-day delivery of client’s account and maintaining strong operational, production and commercial performance. The role will bring strong production and technical expertise to the team, translating client requirements into practical, high-quality and commercially viable solutions across print, POSM and wider marketing production. The Account Manager will own assigned projects from brief through completion, managing production risks, suppliers and cross-functional coordination. The role will operate independently across day-to-day client and project management, while supporting the Senior Account Manager on broader commercial, strategic and client relationship priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned projects and workstreams from briefing through production, delivery and completion, ensuring quality, timelines, scope and costs are managed effectively.
• Manage the production delivery of day-to-day projects, providing technical guidance across print, POSM, materials, fabrication, structural solutions, finishing, prototyping and installation.
• Translate client briefs and creative concepts into practical, commercially viable production solutions, recommending appropriate specifications, materials and methods.
• Identify production, operational and commercial risks early, assess the impact and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with Creative, Operations, Finance, suppliers and other stakeholders to maintain project progress and clear ownership.
• Review supplier proposals, production specifications and costings critically, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, sustainability and value.
• Manage project costs, including quotations, supplier costs, scope changes and POs, escalating any significant commercial risks to the Senior Account Manager before commitments are made.
• Manage day-to-day client communication, project updates and production discussions, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
• Provide accurate project information to support forecasting, savings, reporting and account reviews.
• Escalate matters with wider commercial, strategic or client relationship implications to the Senior Account Manager.
• Support the Account Executive with day-to-day production and project queries, sharing technical knowledge where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, production solutions and overall service delivery.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Minimum 4 years working experience within account management, print production, POSM, retail marketing production or a related production environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across print processes, materials, substrates, fabrication, finishing and structural production.
• Demonstrated ability to assess production requirements and recommend practical solutions based on quality, cost, timelines and feasibility.
• Strong project management and organisational capability, with experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience working with quotations, budgets, supplier costs and project financials.
• Experience managing suppliers and working effectively across multiple internal functions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-led approach.
• High attention to detail with sound judgement on when issues require escalation.
• Able to communicate effectively in a business environment, with the willingness to develop stronger client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
