Nanyang Technological University Hiring! Full Time Senior Assistant Manager-Manager Outreach, Admissions - Scholarships in Southwest (Singapore) - Ricebowl

The College of Engineering at NTU Singapore is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager / Manager for the Outreach, Admissions and Scholarships team. The individual will lead and manage the College’s Undergraduate Outreach, Admissions and Scholarship functions.

Reporting to the Head, Undergraduate, the candidate will play a critical role in leading the whole-of-College effort in outreach to prospective students and the admissions and scholarship processes. The incumbent is responsible for the advancement of the College’s student recruitment goal through the co-development and execution of outreach strategies, marketing campaigns, organising and coordinating for outreach events such as NTU Openhouse, Tea parties, etc. The candidate will also be responsible for the coordination of outreach, admission and scholarship efforts and processes across the five engineering schools and between University departments.

Key Responsibilities will include the following:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the OAS team, including setting annual performance goals and implementing operational SOPs
• Lead and develop outreach and engagement strategies targeted at prospective undergraduates
• A specialised focus on outreach initiatives, programmes and events for local polytechnic and international student recruitment
• Direct campus-wide undergraduate recruitment and outreach initiatives, serving as lead coordinator and executive oversight for all flagship events. The individual will also be the main organiser for CoE’s annual EASE Tea Party
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with pre-university institutions, polytechnics, industry leaders, alumni networks, and internal university offices to expand recruitment reach and drive collaborative outreach initiatives
• Support overall admissions and scholarship processes, managing intake plans and submitting weekly application and tracking reports.
• Spearhead integrated publicity and outreach media strategies to elevate the brand presence, visibility, and market appeal of the College’s undergraduate engineering programmes across local and international prospective student networks

Requirements:

• Recognized university degree in any discipline. Degree in Business / Marketing / Mass Communications is preferred.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in student recruitment and outreach in the higher education sector.
• Experience in event execution and management.
• Resourceful team player with good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Highly motivated and meticulous individual with strong analytic and problem-solving skills and keen eye for details.
• Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
Knowledge of the higher education market in Singapore and Asia-Pacific region is advantageous.
