Job Scope
As a
Restaurant Manager at GYG
, you’ll take ownership of the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, lead and develop your team, and drive performance across the restaurant.
You’ll be the steady one when things get busy — leading your team through peak periods, keeping standards high and making sure every guest has a great experience.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading, coaching and developing the restaurant team
Managing daily restaurant operations and shift performance
Ensuring consistent food quality, service and food safety standards
Driving an exceptional guest experience and handling customer feedback
Managing restaurant inventory, wastage and operational costs
Managing labour, COGS and operating expenses against targets
Monitoring sales and overall restaurant performance
Supporting training and development of the team
Working closely with the wider operations team to drive continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
We’ll provide you with the support and tools to get the mechanics right. We’re looking for
attitude, maturity and energy -
someone who can lead from the front and bring out the best in their team.
You’ll need:
Experience leading a team in a busy, high-volume hospitality or F&B environment
Strong customer service and people management skills
Experience managing restaurant financials and P&L
A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A genuine interest in developing people and growing with GYG
