Vontier Hiring! Full Time Technical Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

You will directly supports sales and channel organizations, help drive customer satisfaction, business growth, profitability, and the overall image of Gilbarco Veeder-Root!

Work Setup: Hybrid

Office Location:Level 3, Wisma Ali Bawal, No. 11 Jalan Tandang, Section 51, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

I. What you will do:

• Assist the business group in reviewing tender document and participate in pre-sales discussion and meeting. Review and propose the appropriate product models for the customer/distributors.
• Assist distributors in solving issues with our products. This will include finding solution from our technical manuals, websites and from our contacts at the factories.
• Create or develop training materials such as video clips, presentation and organize training sessions to upgrade the skills of our distributors. This will include conducting and maintaining the certified training programs. Some of these training may be held in other countries.
• Help to identify problems with our products by participating with our distributors and authorized service providers on troubleshooting activities which may include field trips, e.g. interfacing with our pumps.
• Assist associates including customer service administrator in understanding technical details in purchase order, enquiry.
• Work with our associates in the head-offices and factories to find solutions to meet new challenges faced by our products. This may include resolving issues resulting from changes in statutory requirements, customer needs, new configuration or production.
• Help associates in business function to identify potential new use of our products. This may include joint trip with our associates in business.
• Generate sales leads from site and customer visits by collecting VOC, identifying customer pain points and requirements.
• Understand new products that we may have from time to time and help to introduce these to customers in our region. This may include learning about the product and disseminating the important details to colleagues.
  
  

II. What you'll bring:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering(Mechanical,Mechatronics,Electrical) or a similar discipline with 2–3 years’ requisite experience in Engineering or similar industry
• Possess IT System and Computer Networking Skills
• Comfortable with MS Office Application
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Tagalog highly preferred.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and drive.
• Able to work independently with Hands-on awareness and minimal direction.
• Capable of defining low-impact processes and meeting tight timelines.
• Methodical and organized with strong multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Excellent communication and Cross-functional with strong interpersonal skills.

• Yearly evaluation of goals and objectives, per the standard Vontier performance evaluation
• Direct and supporting involvement in Company Revenue Growth
• Proficiency in product knowledge
