Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline

2-4 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within engineering or project management sectors

Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering industry practices

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable business strategies

Strong negotiation and contract management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business development goals

Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Fluency in English; additional language skills (Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) are advantageous

Maintain and manage existing customer accounts, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.

Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for both metal and plastic components.

Coordinate with internal departments (costing, engineering, logistics) to validate quotation feasibility and pricing.

Attend customer meetings for commercial discussions, new RFQ briefings, and ongoing follow-ups.

Oversee the commercial aspects of new projects from quotation approval through to the first mass production (MP) delivery.

Source and evaluate supplier quotations for new projects to ensure cost competitiveness.
