Business Analyst

Job Description

1. Conduct elicitation sessions to gather and understand business requirements.

2. Understand clients’ business objectives, processes, products, and operational needs.

3. Identify business issues, project risks, and potential benefits of proposed solutions.

4. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, analyse, validate, and document requirements.

5. Prepare Solution Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Solution Design Documents.

6. Develop system prototypes, mock-ups, flowcharts, workflows, and other supporting materials.

7. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.

8. Participate in test planning, system testing, implementation, and user training activities.

9. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project progress, risks, issues, and action items.

10. Conduct client presentations and discussions to clarify project requirements and proposed solutions.

11. Identify opportunities for product improvements, enhancements, and process optimisation.

12. Support other project-related activities as required.

Requirements

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, ERP implementation, or a related field is preferred.

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Familiarity with the palm oil industry, particularly nursery and plantation operations, will be an added advantage.

- Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Figma, and Canva is an added advantage.
