About the role
BAKTI SEKASA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer PW4 to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor. As an Electrical Engineer PW4, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems that are essential to our operations. This position offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to lead technical projects whilst contributing to the company's strategic engineering objectives.
What you'll be doing
Design, develop, and optimise electrical and electronic systems for various engineering projects
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for electrical installations and upgrades
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of existing electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineering staf
Monitor project timelines whilst maintaining quality standards
What we're looking for
Professional qualification or registration as a PW4 and PW2 is highly desirable
Minimum of 1-5 years' professional experience in electrical work
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, power systems, and control systems
Comprehensive understanding of Malaysian electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (IEC, IEEE standards)
Proven experience in project management and leading technical teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety in all electrical work
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required
