Job Summary:
We are looking for a warm, people-centric, and forward-thinking Human Resources Executive to join our team. If you are someone who loves connecting with talent, thrives in a supportive team environment, and is genuinely curious about how modern technology can make HR more human, this role is for you.
You will be the welcoming face of our company for new hires while helping us explore exciting, time-saving AI tools to modernize our recruitment process. You do not need to be a tech expert or have prior AI experience—you just need an open mind, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for creating a great workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Connecting with Talent & Exploring Modern Workflows
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding, acting as the friendly first point of contact for all candidates.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their specific manpower needs, team dynamics, and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Develop and enhance the new AI-assisted recruitment tools (like smart scheduling and resume screening) alongside the team, using these tools to remove repetitive tasks so we can focus more on human connections.
- Keep an eye on candidate feedback and suggest creative, simple ways to make our interview and hiring process feel even more responsive and welcoming.
2. People Operations & Community Support
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a clear, fair, and supportive workplace for everyone.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, taking ownership of employee records, HR documentation, and accurate HRIS updates.
- Handle employee relations matters empathetically and provide trusted HR guidance to both employees and managers.
- Ensure our workplace and operational practices maintain strict compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support HR reporting, audits, and step in to perform other general administrative tasks as and when required to keep the department running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of solid HR generalist experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing or a similarly dynamic environment where you supported both operational and corporate teams.
- A "Tech-Curious" Mindset: No prior AI experience is required. We are simply looking for someone who is eager to learn new software, adopt modern ATS platforms, and embrace digital workflows.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, along with professional proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively support and collaborate with our diverse team and regional partners.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
