Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Accounts Executive on a 3-month contract to independently manage full sets of accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audit and tax compliance for two entities.

Responsibilities

• Process Intercompany and ad-hoc billings accurately to maintain timely accounts receivable records
• Review daily bank transactions and update receipts to ensure accurate cash flow tracking
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts to optimize collections and minimize overdue balances
• Verify and process ad-hoc payments to maintain accurate accounts payable records
• Update payment records promptly to reflect current liabilities
• Prepare monthly journal vouchers to record financial transactions in the general ledger
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company records
• Maintain full sets of accounts for two entities to support financial transparency and compliance
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to the tax authority in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Compile quarterly management reports to provide insights into financial performance
• Prepare financial year-end audit schedules to facilitate smooth external audit processes
• Liaise effectively with external auditors and tax agents to resolve queries and ensure compliance
• Execute other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned to support business operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Accounting certificate demonstrating foundational accounting knowledge and skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant working experience in accounting roles
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines consistently

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
