Responsibilities
Position Summary
Responsible for the overall daily operations and management of the Pool/Billiard Centre, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, staff performance, cleanliness, safety, and achievement of revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the Pool / Billiard Centre.
Supervise and schedule staffs including part-time staffs.
Ensure Pool & Billiard tables, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good condition.
Monitor customer bookings, walk-ins, memberships and table usage.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
Manage cash collection, POS transactions and daily sales reconciliation.
Monitor inventory and control the usage of beverages, food and other supplies, where applicable.
Ensure the Centre maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and work performance.
Train and coach staff on customer service and operational procedures.
Organise promotions, tournaments and customer engagement activities.
Monitor daily/monthly sales performance and work towards revenue targets.
Control operating costs and minimise wastage or losses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
Prepare daily operational reports and escalate issues to management.
Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in billiard, entertainment, recreation, F&B, club or leisure operations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good leadership and staff-management abilities.
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
Good problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
Knowledge of billiards / pool is an advantage.
