The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects safely on time,within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards,specifications and expectations of the project.
A summary of theresponsibilities of this position is, and not limited to, as follows:
Responsible for the safe completion ofproject within budgeted costwith full compliance to all required specifications.
Coordination with Owner, Architect, Consultants andAuthority Agencies.
Prepare project schedules, track progress of work to ensuretimely completion of work.
Chair project meetings and ensure progress reports aresubmitted on time.
Manage all project resources and their performance includingproject team members, subcontractors, suppliers and workers.
Work closely with Contracts Manager and QS for allprocurements, subcontracts, claims and payment matters.
Manage all progress claims, EOT application and submissionof V.O to Architect and Consultants.
Manage public safety at worksite and all WSHE (workplacesafety, health & environmental) issues at project level to ensurecompliance with all regulatory requirements.
Manage the quality of work to ensure all completed works meetquality parameters in line with the standards, specifications andexpectations of the project.
Manage project pre and postcompletion including all Authority’s submissions and approvals.
Skills and Requirements:
Education: Degree in Architecture or CivilEngineering from a recognized University
Experience: minimum 6 years’ experience in managinglocal projects as a Project Manager
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
