We are recruiting a Risk Analyst to strengthen our upstream product and business development work as our product pipeline deepens, our member base expands, and demand for SEADRIF’s solutions grows across the region.

Role Summary

The Risk Analyst will provide hands-on technical support to the Head of Product across the full product lifecycle — from concept design and pricing through to placement, implementation, and post-event review. The role will help turn risk data, model output, and reinsurer feedback into sound pricing, robust trigger design, and clear technical documentation.

This is a delivery-focused technical role suited to a strong quantitative analyst — an actuary, catastrophe risk modeller, or equivalent — who is comfortable working independently on complex problems in a small, fast-moving team. The role works in close support of the Head of Product and offers significant room to grow in scope and responsibility as the portfolio expands.

While the role is primarily technical, an integral part of it is developing that technical work into clear, usable outputs. Producing simple tools (for non-technical users), concept notes, briefs, reports, and presentations that set out product designs, concepts, and structures — together with the coordination and administrative work will be required.
