Responsibilities

  • Direct one-on-one mentorship under an experienced product engineer with immediate, hands-on ownership of live production software.

  • Opportunity to work with modern AI development tooling daily within a fast-moving, high-autonomy engineering team.

I am partnering with a fast-paced software product firm based in Singapore that specializes in rapid web and mobile application delivery. They build and scale user-focused digital solutions by integrating modern developer workflows.

About job

  • Design, build, and deploy user-facing web and mobile applications from initial concept through production launch.

  • Leverage cutting-edge AI coding copilots (such as Claude Code and Codex) to accelerate rapid software prototyping and iterative development.

  • Translate high-level business concepts into interactive proof-of-concepts to validate requirements with team members and end users.

  • Partner with UI/UX designers to define milestone scopes and ensure reliable project execution.

  • Identify recurring friction points within delivery cycles and build automated workflows to streamline development processes.

  • Communicate complex engineering trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders in both written and spoken formats.

Skills and requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical hands-on software development experience (career switchers and self-taught developers welcome).

  • Active experience utilizing modern AI-assisted engineering tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor) to speed up coding tasks.

  • Proven portfolio, live demo, or public GitHub project showcasing a functional web or mobile app built independently.

  • Cross-platform mindset with the flexibility to build solutions across web, iOS, Android, or hybrid frameworks.

  • Solid eye for intuitive, clean UI/UX design paired with proactive problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with an aptitude for working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
