To develop, maintain and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing production capacity and resource utilization.

To perform production planning and scheduling for all manufacturing operations using the MES system.

To review customer demand, sales forecasts and order priorities to establish an achievable production schedule.

To plan, prioritize and sequence production orders based on customer priorities, material availability, machine capacity and production constraints.

To balance production demand with available manpower, machine capacity and material availability to achieve optimum resource utilization and on-time delivery.

To coordinate and monitor production workflow across all departments to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule and committed delivery dates.

To identify production bottlenecks, capacity constraints and potential delays, and coordinate corrective and recovery actions to minimize disruption to production and customer deliveries.

To conduct daily production meetings with department supervisors to review production status, urgent customer requirements, scheduling priorities and recovery plans.

To collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Store, IQC, OQA and other supporting functions to ensure the smooth execution of production schedules.

To communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules, revised ETAs and recovery plans whenever delays or unforeseen issues arise.

To monitor customer forecasts, production loading and capacity utilization, and recommend schedule adjustments to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

To monitor, analyze and report planning-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule adherence, production backlog and forecast accuracy, and provide timely updates to Management.

To collect, review and analyze production output information, including completed quantities, work-in-progress (WIP), scrap and defect rates, to improve planning accuracy and support continuous improvement initiatives.

To coach, guide and support junior planning personnel by providing training, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance to achieve departmental objectives.

To maintain accurate planning records and documentation, ensure proper filing and traceability of records.

To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
