Job Description

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment, demonstrating proficiency in operating and setting up CNC machines.

  • Strong understanding and practical application of CNC Machining principles, including G-code and M-code.

  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Experience with Quality Control procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure adherence to specifications.

  • Familiarity with Tooling Setup, Tooling and Fixturing, and the ability to perform basic maintenance on CNC machinery.

  • Experience with Rollomatic Grinding machines is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin language skills are a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions precisely.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to specifications and blueprints.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify quality and adherence to tolerances.

  • Load and unload materials and finished products from CNC machines, ensuring safe handling practices.

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of CNC machines, including tooling and fixture installation.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to guide production processes.

  • Identify and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly.

  • Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols.
