Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of vessels to ensure that operations are carried out efficiently and according to schedule.
• Coordinate vessel port calls, including berthing, departure arrangements, port services and other operational requirements.
• Liaise with Masters, vessel crews, port agents, terminals, suppliers and other relevant parties on day-to-day operational matters.
• Monitor vessel movements, voyage schedules and port activities, and provide timely updates on operational progress and potential delays.
• Arrange and follow up on vessel services such as bunkering, provisions, stores, husbandry services and other operational requirements.
• Review and maintain vessel operational records, reports, correspondence and supporting documentation to ensure that information is accurate and properly maintained.
• Coordinate operational arrangements arising from changes in vessel schedules, port conditions, delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Follow up with service providers and contractors to ensure that required services are delivered within the agreed timeframe and operational requirements.
• Assist in monitoring vessel-related operational expenses, including port charges, agency fees, service costs and other related expenditure.
• Ensure that operational activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures, applicable maritime regulations, port requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Assist in handling operational incidents and urgent matters, including coordination with relevant parties and follow-up on corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare regular operational updates and reports for management, highlighting vessel status, outstanding matters and significant operational issues.
