Key Responsibilities

A. Pre-Contract

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender documents for electrical projects.
• Assist in reviewing drawings and specifications to understand project scope and identify discrepancies.
• Obtain and compile supplier/subcontractor quotations for materials and services for evaluation.
• Assist in tender submission preparation, pricing, and clarification as required.

B. Post-contract

• Assist in preparing progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Assist in monitoring project costs against budget and highlight potential cost issues to the Senior QS or Project Manager.
• Assist in maintaining updated cost reports and cash flow records.
• Check subcontractor claims, invoices, and work done measurements under the guidance of the Senior QS.
• Attend site visits to check actual progress and assist in validating quantities.
• Assist in preparing documentation for project handover and contract closure.

C. Contract & Documentation

• Assist in preparing and maintaining subcontract agreements and related documentation.
• Ensure QS documentation is properly prepared, updated, and submitted within the required timeline.
• Maintain proper records of project costing, correspondences, quotations, and VO submissions.

D. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Procurement teams on QS-related matters.
• Assist in communicating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding cost and project-related matters.
• Attend project meetings when required and assist in providing updates on QS-related matters.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
