WKL Design Hiring! Full Time Civil - Structural Engineer (Project PIC) in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 1 - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team as a Project Person-in-Charge (PIC). The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from design and coordination through construction and completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from design development to site completion.
• Coordinate and chair client, consultant and site meetings.
• Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with relevant codes and project requirements.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, reports and technical documents.
• Coordinate civil & structural works with architects, M&E consultants and contractors.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and technical proposals.
• Resolve design, technical and construction issues and monitor project progress.
• Ensure projects meet quality, programme, budget and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years’ relevant experience in civil & structural engineering, preferably in consultancy.
• Practical experience in structural analysis and design.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, steel structures or BIM is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ESTEEM, TEKLA, STAAD.Pro, MES or LOOP.
• Good knowledge of structural design, construction practices and project coordination.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and project ownership skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage for communication and coordination with clients from China and Taiwan.
