Dishwashing & Sanitation Experience: Prior experience operating commercial dishwashing machinery and 3-compartment manual sinks.

Physical Endurance: Capacity to stand for long shifts, scrape food waste, lift dish racks, and transport cookware continuously.

Chemical Handling & Safety: Understanding of cleaning chemical safety, garbage disposal procedures, Food Handler Certification, and typhoid vaccination.

Speed & Station Organization: Fast-paced sorting skills to keep front-of-house counters supplied with clean cups, bowls, and cutlery.

Reliability: Dependable work ethic and willingness to maintain back-of-house kitchen cleanliness.

High-Volume Dishwashing & Sanitation: Operate commercial dishwashers and manual 3-compartment sinks to wash, sanitize, and dry heavy ceramic mugs, saucers, cutlery, toast plates, and cooking pots efficiently.

Tableware & Tray Sorting: Sort dirty dining ware brought in by food runners or floor staff, scraping off food remnants and soaking tea/coffee-stained cups to remove stubborn stains before washing.

Equipment & Kitchen Deep Cleaning: Scrub and sanitize kitchen prep tables, dish racks, grease traps, trash bins, floor drains, and exhaust filters according to daily sanitation schedules.

Restocking Clean Service Ware: Transport sanitized cups, saucers, spoons, and plates quickly back to the drinks counter, breakfast station, and main kitchen to avoid service delays during peak hours.

Waste Management & Chemical Safety: Empty kitchen and dining room trash bins, sort recyclables, dispose of food waste properly, and handle cleaning chemicals safely following food hygiene and workplace safety guidelines.
