Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and energetic Flower Shop Manager to lead daily retail operations, manage florist team members, oversee floral arrangement quality, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the flower shop, ensuring smooth business workflow and high customer satisfaction.

  • Manage store inventory, including ordering fresh flowers, foliage, decorative items, containers, and shop supplies.

  • Monitor stock levels, minimize wastage, and establish proper cold-chain/conditioning routines to maintain flower freshness.

• Floral Design & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all floral arrangements (bouquets, table arrangements, event flowers, wreaths, etc.) meet quality and design standards.

  • Assist in hands-on floral design during peak festive/seasonal periods (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas).

• Team Leadership & Scheduling

  • Supervise, train, and mentor florists and retail assistants in floral techniques, customer care, and shop procedures.

  • Plan monthly work rosters and daily duties across the 6-day work week.

• Sales, Marketing & Customer Service

  • Drive shop sales targets and manage customer inquiries, online order fulfillment, and walk-in sales.

  • Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service issues efficiently.

  • Assist in planning promotional displays, seasonal product line launches, and social media showcase.

Job Requirements & Eligibility

• Citizenship / Residency: Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) only.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail store management, preferably within the floristry, horticulture, or lifestyle retail industry.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of flower care, floral design, and conditioning techniques.

  • Excellent team leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, basic inventory tracking, and MS Office.

• Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, adaptable under pressure, and possess a strong passion for floral aesthetics.

Working Hours & Location

• Work Schedule: 6 days per week (rotational shifts including weekends & public holidays).

• Location: Singapore (Bedok South).

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Base Salary: S$3,000 – S$5,000 (commensurate with experience and capabilities).

• CPF Contributions: Full CPF contributions provided in accordance with MOM guidelines.
