Responsibilities
We are seeking for a meticulous, proactive, and dependable Accounts Executive to join our Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Be able to manage full sets of accounts apart from Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable as well as General Ledger (GL).
Process vendor invoices, staff expense claims, and disbursement payments in compliance with company internal controls.
Issue customer tax invoices, statements of accounts (SOA), and support follow up on outstanding receivables.
Meticulous in posting accounts payable (AP) entries to system including checking, validation and assurance of accurate invoice data.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing schedules.
Prepare balance sheet schedules, journal entries, and variance analysis.
Maintain proper filing systems documentation, and digital audit trails.
Capable to provide back-up to the Account Manager on ad-hoc basis.
Support inventory, fixed asset tracking, or stock count reconciliation where applicable.
Be able to assist in system integration, workflow automation, or ad-hoc finance administrative tasks as assigned by the Account Manager.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience. (Candidate with more experience may be considered for a Senior role).
Great understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local corporate tax/GST regulations.
Detail-oriented, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface effectively with vendors, auditors, and internal teams.
Ability to work independently, manage tight closing deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity.
