We are looking for a Software/Applications Engineer to develop, maintain and support software applications as part of a technical delivery team. You will contribute to application enhancements, testing, deployment and troubleshooting while following established development and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java, C++, Python, Node.js or related technologies.
• Assist with application testing, debugging and defect resolution.
• Support application deployment in virtualised or containerised environments.
• Participate in code reviews, version control and CI/CD activities.
• Follow secure coding practices and established software development standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and work with team members to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language and common development tools.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, source code management and software testing.
• Exposure to cloud-native applications, CI/CD or infrastructure as code is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical systems is an advantage.
