Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian occupational safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Conduct HIRARC, workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify and control hazards.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage scheduled waste, DOE eSWIS documentation and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate fire drills, emergency response procedures and safety equipment inspections.
• Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks and HSE training programmes.
• Monitor PPE usage, contractor safety and safe working practices.
• Maintain HSE records, prepare reports and support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
• Liaise with DOSH/JKKP, DOE/JAS, BOMBA and other relevant authorities.
• Perform other HSE-related duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant HSE experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Malaysian safety and environmental regulations, HIRARC and incident investigation.
• Experience in scheduled-waste management and DOE eSWIS is an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
