Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Plan, organize, and oversee projects or sub-projects of minor complexity (up to Project Classification Class D), managing associated risks, impacts, and scope.
- Lead and coordinate a medium-sized, cross-functional project team.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution and smooth handover to the sustaining function.
- Coordinate project activities and allocate resources to ensure the timely achievement of project milestones.
- Take full responsibility for project operations and the successful delivery of project objectives in terms of timeline, quality, cost, and budget.
- Serve as the primary communication interface for project-related matters, representing Back End to other Infineon divisions and functions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions, Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, etc).
- Establish and lead the project team, delegating responsibilities to sub-project managers and project members.
- Utilize IFX project management tools for project structuring, progress monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
- Drive project-related problem-solving initiatives using standard Infineon methodologies such as 8D and 5 Whys.
- Monitor project quality and progress continuously, ensuring objectives are achieved despite challenges.
- Identify, manage, and implement project changes, adapting project approaches when necessary.
Your profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience.
- At least 2 years of experience leading projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management, including project initiation, planning, execution, closure, reporting, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, people management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead teams in resolving issues using structured methodologies such as 8D, Is/Is Not, and FMEA.
