Alps Avenue (Company transport provided from multiple MRT stations)

Rotating Shift

Opportunity to work closely with airlines, customers and internal teams
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and plan cargo space to maximize shipment and loading efficiency
Follow up on shipment status and keep customers and relevant stakeholders updated
Liaise with airlines on freight rates, tracking and other operational matters
Manage and review buying and selling rates with customers and carriers
Ensure shipments are completed and uplifted on time at agreed rates
Handle RFQs and tenders
Coordinate with the Sales team on customer enquiries and provide suitable logistics solutions
Plan and manage bumped shipments for consolidation
Make bookings with various carriers
Coordinate with Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure timely shipment schedules
Prepare progress and profit/loss reports for the team and stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of relevant experience
in freight forwarding, logistics or a related field
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and time-management skills
Good communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours
Morning Shift
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Alternate Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Night Shift
Monday to Friday: 5:00pm – 1:30am
Alternate Saturday/Sunday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
