About the Role

Our Big Tech client is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop internal software platforms supporting infrastructure operations, automation and robotics-related projects.

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong backend development experience, preferably in Python, who is also comfortable building modern frontend applications using React or Next.js.

You will work on a variety of engineering projects, including infrastructure management tools, warehouse automation and applications that integrate with physical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications supporting infrastructure and operational teams.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs and system integrations using Python or other modern programming languages.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Build software solutions supporting infrastructure automation, robotics and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Singapore, the US and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimise application performance and ensure code quality.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in full-stack application development.
• Strong backend development skills, preferably in Python. Experience with Java, Go, Kotlin, PHP or Node.js will also be considered.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs, backend services and system integrations.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Good understanding of system design, software architecture, databases and scalable applications.
• Proven experience delivering applications independently, from initial design through production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience in robotics, warehouse automation or industrial automation.
• Exposure to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) or warehouse management systems.
• Experience developing software that integrates with robotic equipment or physical infrastructure.
• Background in infrastructure automation, data-centre operations or logistics technology.

This is an initial 12-months rolling full-time contract role.
