Candidate Requirements

• Education: Diploma or above Major: Light Chemical Engineering (Pulp & Paper Manufacturing)

• Qualifications: Diploma or above in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Engineering, Light Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering & Technology, or other related disciplines.

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in the paper manufacturing industry; familiar with pulping and papermaking processes. Proficient in Excel and other relevant tools, with the ability to prepare process

• Operate and monitor pulping equipment, including digesters, refiners, and screens, to ensure efficient and consistent pulp production according to established standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on pulping machinery, identifying and resolving mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.

• Conduct quality control tests on pulp samples, analyzing parameters such as freeness, consistency, and cleanliness, and making necessary adjustments to the pulping process to meet product specifications.

• Maintain accurate production records and logs, documenting process variables, material usage, and quality control results for reporting and analysis purposes.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations within the pulping department, ensuring a safe working environment and responsible waste management.

• Collaborate with other production teams and maintenance staff to coordinate pulping operations with upstream and downstream processes, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient material transfer.

• Assist in the implementation of new pulping technologies or process improvements, providing feedback and support during trials and startup phases.

• Manage time effectively to meet production targets and respond promptly to operational demands, demonstrating strong time management skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Contribute to team efforts by sharing knowledge, assisting colleagues, and participating in team meetings to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
