Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any related field.

Minimum 1-3 years’ working experience in inventory control, logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs procedures, and shipping processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory planning tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data management.
Willingness to travel to HQ in Jementah, Johor for meetings, trainings and operational support when required
Responsibilities
Coordinate with the appointed freight forwarder to monitor vessel schedules, sailing dates, and container space availability.
Maintain and update inventory planning and forecasting models by analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, shipment lead times, and vessel schedules to ensure adequate stock availability and optimize container utilization.
Collaborate closely with stores, logistics providers, and relevant stakeholders to coordinate container collection from ports, ensuring timely retrieval and delivery to avoid detention, demurrage, or additional port-related charges.
Liaise with fleet coordinators to confirm container loading capacities to ensure effective container allocation.
Obtain quotations from freight forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for comparison and evaluation.
Develop and communicate container collection and transportation schedules including coordination of inter-warehouse transfers and third-party transportation arrangements.
Prepare and issue Goods Transfer Notes (GTN) at least three days before warehouse loading, ensuring all inventory balances and outstanding stock items are properly verified.
Prepare customs documentation such as CIPL before the scheduled vessel sailing date to ensure timely customs clearance.
Submit all required shipping documents to the freight forwarder for Bill of Lading (BL) processing and shipment arrangement.
Review and verify Bill of Lading details to ensure shipment information is accurate and compliant before final confirmation.
Coordinate with the Finance/Accounts Department by submitting complete shipment documentation for cargo insurance arrangements.
Monitor shipping-related invoices and charges, including port storage, detention, demurrage, or overnight penalties. Verify invoices and communicate cost updates to relevant stakeholders.
Review invoices received from the freight forwarder, verify all charges against shipment records, and submit validated invoices to the Finance/Accounts Department for payment processing.
