About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee and manage ongoing construction projects, ensuring that all works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, cost, and agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take overall responsibility for the management and coordination of ongoing projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, statutory authorities, and other relevant parties throughout the project.
• Manage and monitor site activities involving building, M&E, and civil works.
• Organise inspections and coordinate with consultants and statutory planning authorities to obtain the necessary approvals.
• Organise practical inspections with consultants and clients.
• Review and analyse all variation works prior to confirmation, including their impact on quality, cost, programme, and buildability.
• Conduct weekly site meetings with Site Agents, Site Supervisors, Sub-contractors, and Clerk-of-Works.
• Attend monthly consultants' meetings and follow up on relevant project matters.
• Conduct periodic inspections during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
• Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor (Q.S.) on site valuation and certification.
• Liaise with consultants on final payment valuation and Certificate of Making Good Defects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to project requirements, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve site and technical issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in building, M&E, and civil works.
• Experienced in liaising and coordinating with government/statutory authorities, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Highly organised, dedicated, and responsible with a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong initiative.
• Good project management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
