Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking off quantity, calculation of project costing, computation of BQ and ordering material
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor prepare monthly report progress claim, sub-contractor' payment certificate, VO evaluation and project final account
- Able to do cost estimation independently and accurately
- Assist for site valuations or measurement for claim and payment to sub-contractor
- Taking off quantity, controlling, ordering, recording and monitor of material
- Coordinate with project team in administering contractual matters such as variation order, extension of time, loss and expenses, project cost control etc
- Responsible for all aspect of the purchasing function including sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Submission of material approval
- Assist to prepare and compile documents for tender submission
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least bachelor’s degree in quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
- Fresh graduate without working experience is encourage to apply
- Good interpersonal skill and able to work independent
- Initiative and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in the challenging environment
- Possess own transport
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Pleasant personality, open-minded and fast learner
- Computer literate MS Office Excel and Word
