EQ Kuala Lumpur Hiring! Full Time Public Relations Manager in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and driven Public Relations Manager to strengthen our brand reputation, build meaningful media relationships, and elevate the visibility of our hotel, dining destinations, guest experiences, people, and brand initiatives.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing Communications and Public Relations and key hotel stakeholders, you will lead the day-to-day public relations function, develop compelling brand stories, and execute impactful PR strategies that enhance EQ’s profile locally, regionally, and internationally.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant public relations or communications experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, travel, lifestyle, food and beverage or a premium consumer brand.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong copywriting, editing, proofreading and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is strongly preferred; Mandarin and/or other languages are an advantage.
• Established media relationships and a strong understanding of the Malaysian media landscape; regional or international media experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to develop compelling story angles, pitch proactively and secure high-quality earned media coverage.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills, with the confidence and maturity to engage journalists, senior executives, partners, VIPs and other stakeholders.
