Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required, as you will regularly liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders in line with company procurement policies.
  • Source and obtain quotations from suppliers, and assist in comparing prices, quality, and lead times.
  • Communicate with suppliers in Mandarin and English to negotiate terms, confirm orders, and resolve issues.
  • Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and shipments to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, warehouse) to understand purchasing requirements and prevent supply delays.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and pricing information.
  • Support supplier evaluation and onboarding, including documentation and compliance checks.
  • Assist with invoice verification, purchase order reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies with finance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning where required.
  • Prepare regular purchasing reports and support audit requests as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Good understanding of purchasing processes, from requisition to payment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

What You'll Get:

  • Hands-on exposure to the full procurement and supplier management cycle.
  • Opportunity to work with regional suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative work environment with room for career growth.
