Role Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP HVAC Project Manager to lead and manage HVAC works for a Google Data Center project in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, proven experience managing large-scale MEP construction projects, and a solid understanding of data center requirements, including critical cooling systems, commissioning, quality control, and project delivery.

Qualifications

Lead and manage all HVAC-related MEP works throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems.

Coordinate with the client, consultants, main contractor, subcontractors, and other MEP teams.

Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, procurement, and subcontractor performance.

Ensure all HVAC works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.

Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.

Review shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and material approvals.

Coordinate testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), integrated systems testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

Ensure quality, safety, cost control, and timely project completion.

Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management and the client.
