Job Purpose

The Management in Training (MIT) programme is designed to develop future restaurant leaders through structured, hands-on training in restaurant operations, customer service, people management and basic business management.

Key Responsibilities

· Learn and perform all restaurant operational duties, including food preparation, service, cashiering, cleanliness and food safety.

· Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.

· Learn opening, closing and daily restaurant procedures.

· Support inventory control, stock receiving, ordering and waste management.

· Assist in maintaining food quality, hygiene and operational standards.

· Learn to supervise, coach and coordinate restaurant team members.

· Support manpower planning and daily shift deployment.

· Assist management in achieving restaurant sales and operational targets.

· Handle customer feedback and operational issues appropriately.

· Complete all required MIT training modules, assessments and on-the-job assignments.

· Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as training progresses.

· Be prepared for progression into a restaurant management role upon successful completion of the programme.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in any discipline; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Strong interest in building a career in the F&B / restaurant industry.

· Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willing to learn and take on leadership responsibilities.

· Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

· Willing to be assigned or transferred to different outlets when required.

Pay: RM2,100.00 per month
