Job Requirements:
- Organizational Skills: High level of accuracy in tracking numbers (TRNs/DOs) and maintaining clear logs.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to assess furniture damage and determine if an item is salvageable or requires disposal.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of assisting with heavy manual labor and furniture assembly/moving.
- Communication: Clear reporting skills to keep the supervisor informed of inventory levels and defects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Processing

• Unloading: Assist in unloading trucks and containers manually or using equipment.

• Verification: Check incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quantity and quality.

• Reporting: Document any damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.

• Storage: Sort, label, and put away stock in designated bin locations.

2. Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing)

• Picking: Use "pick lists" or handheld scanners to locate and pull items for customer orders.

• Packing: Securely pack items using appropriate materials (bubble wrap, boxes, tape) to prevent damage during transit.

• Shipping: Generate shipping labels, weigh packages, and prepare documentation for outbound carriers.

3. Inventory Management

• Stock Counts: Participate in regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.

• Data Entry: Update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Excel logs to reflect real-time stock levels.

• Organization: Rearrange stock to maximize space and ensure the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) method is followed.

4. Safety & Maintenance

• Housekeeping: Keep aisles clear of debris, sweep floors, and dispose of packaging waste (cardboard/pallets).

• Equipment Care: Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.
