As an Occupational Therapist, you will ensure patient documentation, records, and accurate data to reflect treatment provided and satisfy standards. Your role involves assessing and implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal independence by improving and restoring skills in self-care, daily living, and work activities.

Your Role

• Assess elderly residents’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs and develop personalised care plans.

• Implement occupational therapy interventions to enhance residents’ independence, functionality, and quality of life.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care and monitor residents’ progress.

• Provide training and guidance to care staff on occupational therapy practices.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Develop and review Rehabilitation SOPs in accordance with the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA).

Your Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Current registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory body (AHPC in Singapore).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in eldercare, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.

• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, particularly in geriatric care.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
