We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering projects at a manufacturing facility in Banting, Selangor. As part of the company's continued expansion, this role will contribute to its growth initiatives in Malaysia while ensuring plant reliability, operational safety, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate engineering projects with the maintenance, production, compounding and chlorination teams.
• Prepare technical drawings, arrange material purchases and coordinate project requirements.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment breakdowns and prepare maintenance reports.
• Liaise with suppliers on machine design, servicing and technical support.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and technical troubleshooting will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
