We’re Hiring: Senior Workday Functional Consultant – People Systems

Locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Experience: 8+ years in HRIS/People Systems, including 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience

we are looking for an experienced Senior Workday Functional Consultant to support and enhance our global People Systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own functional design and hands-on configuration of Workday Core HCM.
• Lead major enhancements and end-to-end Workday transformation initiatives.
• Drive fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Support M&A-related HR system harmonisation, data mapping, and integration planning.
• Identify configuration gaps, process bottlenecks, and opportunities for system improvement.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and global teams to deliver scalable People Systems solutions.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows and productivity.

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years of HRIS or enterprise People Systems experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Experience leading at least 2 full-cycle Workday implementations or major tenant transformations.
• Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM, business processes, security, reporting, EIB, integrations, and release management.
• Hands-on experience in at least 2 additional Workday modules, such as Advanced Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, or Journeys.
• Experience with solution architecture, fit-gap analysis, data harmonisation, and global stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies.
• Exposure to change management, training, and release readiness.
• Knowledge of enterprise audit, data privacy, and governance requirements.
• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
