We are looking for a motivated fresh graduate or junior engineer who is interested in building hands-on experience in both SMT manufacturing and Quality Assurance.

This is a learning-focused role with exposure to the full electronics manufacturing process. You will be trained to operate and understand our SMT production line while also developing your knowledge in QA systems and processes.

As our company is working towards ISO 13485 certification, the selected candidate will also be given relevant QA training and will have the opportunity to be involved in developing and maintaining a quality system suitable for medical device manufacturing.

This role is suitable for someone who wants practical engineering experience instead of being limited to only one area.

SMT / Production

• Learn to operate and manage SMT production equipment and processes.

• Assist with SMT machine setup, programming and product changeovers.

• Learn PCB assembly processes including solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow and inspection.

• Support new product introduction and first article builds.

• Monitor SMT production quality and identify process or machine-related issues.

• Assist in troubleshooting SMT defects and production problems.

• Work with production staff to improve process efficiency and product quality.

• Maintain proper production, machine and process records.

Quality Assurance

• Learn and support the company's Quality Management System.

• Participate in QA training related to ISO 13485 requirements.

• Assist with incoming, in-process and final product inspections.

• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports and documentation.

• Assist with Non-Conformance Reports, root cause investigation and corrective actions.

• Support internal audits and preparation for external/customer audits.

• Assist with calibration, equipment records and document control.

• Ensure production processes follow approved procedures and quality requirements.

• Support product traceability and manufacturing documentation.

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Willing to work hands-on with production equipment and on the manufacturing floor.

• Interest in electronics manufacturing and SMT processes.

• Basic understanding of electronic components and PCBs would be an advantage.

• Some programming knowledge or experience is preferred.

• Candidates with exposure to machine programming, PLC, Python, C/C++, Arduino or similar programming will have an advantage.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and learn new processes quickly.

• Comfortable handling both technical production work and QA documentation.

• Attention to detail and willingness to take responsibility for quality.

Training will be provided, including QA-related training as we work towards ISO 13485 qualification.
