Hong Kong Science And Technology Parks Corporation Hiring! Full Time Officer, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (7 months contract) in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The Position

• Assist in managing procurement operations, including those for the Greater Bay Area (GBA) office, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and relevant Procurement Guidelines
• Handle procurement activities including the preparation of RFQ/RFP tender documents and reviewing tender documents in accordance with established policies
• Review supplier registrations, company background validations (including local supplier vendors and Mainland China entities)
• Assist the supervisor in supporting eTender System maintenance and workflow enhancements by conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshooting
• Assist the supervisor in handling general insurance matters for the GBA Office
• Gather insurance underwriting data, track policy schedules, process documentation, etc
• Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned

The Candidate

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience on procurement function in sizeable organizations with primary exposure to tendering, contracting, and cost estimation
• Strong organizational skills, able to work independently with limited supervision, self-motivated and diligent
• Experience in Procurement system, eTendering and ERP system is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office application
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
