Job Description
Our client, an established construction group in Singapore, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tender preparation, contract administration and project cost management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, tender pricing, subcontractor evaluations, project budgeting and progress claims.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates and pricing for construction tenders and quotations.
Review construction drawings, specifications and tender documents for costing purposes.
Obtain, evaluate and compare subcontractors' quotations.
Handle contract administration, including preparation of subcontracting and purchasing documents.
Prepare, monitor and update project budgets and cost reports.
Prepare progress claims and evaluate subcontractor payment submissions.
Monitor project expenditure and maintain accurate costing and payment records.
Prepare monthly updates on claims, budgets, costs and payment receipts.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, tender pricing and contract administration.
Knowledge of construction budgeting, cost control and progress claims.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CCS PO/WO Module.
Good understanding of cost management and control techniques.
Strong analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
ISO Internal Auditor Certification is an advantage.
