Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, approved drawings and quality standards.
• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures at the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction works comply with project requirements, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare, review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports and quality records.
• Coordinate and conduct inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors and relevant authorities.
• Monitor construction materials, workmanship and installation quality to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Identify and report non-conformance issues (NCR) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and inspection checklists.
• Monitor project progress and ensure construction activities meet the approved work schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, contractors and engineering teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project quality records.
• Assist in project handover, final inspections and preparation of completion reports.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction site engineering and QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures, ISO standards and construction quality requirements.
• Experience in preparing QA/QC documents, NCR, ITP, Method Statements and inspection reports.
• Able to conduct site inspections and identify construction defects or quality issues.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site-related responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction standards and relevant authority requirements.
• Possession of relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
