Job Summary

Managed accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with audit requirements and internal control standards, strengthening financial integrity and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Managed accounting functions, including General Ledger and bank reconciliations, while supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities to ensure accurate and timely payment and receipt.
• Prepare monthly closing schedules, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare/Review GST schedules and submissions in compliance with Singapore statutory requirements
• Assist with annual audits by preparing financial schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents and responding to audit queries to facilitate smooth audit processes
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with company policies, accounting standards and internal controls to ensure compliance and data integrity
• Collaborate effectively with operations and project teams to support financial and administrative functions
• Manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet business needs
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in offshore oil & gas, engineering or construction industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/SAP ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of Singapore GST and basic statutory requirements
• Demonstrated attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams
