Role Description The Income Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, responsible for monitoring and verifying daily revenue and income-related transactions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and reconciling front office and outlet revenues, ensuring accuracy of postings, and identifying discrepancies across various income streams. The role involves preparing daily income reports, verifying supporting documents, and coordinating with front office, reservations, and finance teams to resolve issues. The Income Auditor will also support month-end closing activities, maintain organized records for internal and external audits, and help improve controls and procedures related to income and cash handling. This position requires close collaboration with operational departments to ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards.


Qualifications

  • Strong Accounting knowledge with practical experience in Account Reconciliation.
  • Auditing skills, including income verification and internal control review.
  • Finance and Accounts Receivable (AR) skills for tracking payments and resolving variances.
  • Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting or property management systems (e.g., PMS, POS, ERP).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional operational teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time well, and meet daily and monthly deadlines.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; hospitality sector experience is an advantage.
