Responsibilities
Security Officer , Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily security operations at assigned sites.
Ensure security guards perform their duties according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct regular inspections of guard posts, security equipment, and assigned areas.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline of security personnel.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, complaints, and suspicious activities.
Prepare daily security reports, incident reports, and other operational documentation.
Coordinate with building management, residents, clients, and relevant authorities when necessary.
Ensure proper implementation of access control, visitor registration, vehicle monitoring, and security procedures.
Conduct regular security briefings and provide guidance to security personnel.
Report security weaknesses and recommend improvements to management.
Ensure all instructions from management are properly communicated and implemented.
Patrolling Officer , Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and random patrols at assigned residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Inspect guard posts and ensure security personnel remain alert and perform their duties effectively.
Monitor guard attendance, uniforms, grooming, discipline, and compliance with SOPs.
Identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches, safety hazards, and operational irregularities.
Conduct spot checks, including night patrols and surprise inspections.
Verify guard tour records, attendance records, and security logbooks.
Monitor access control points, perimeter fencing, parking areas, and other sensitive locations.
Respond promptly to emergencies, security incidents, and requests for operational assistance.
Prepare accurate patrol reports with photographs and observations when required.
Report guard misconduct, negligence, or violations of company procedures to the Operations Department.
Assist with guard deployment, replacement arrangements, and operational support when instructed.
Maintain professional communication with site supervisors, security guards, and management representatives.
Ensure company patrol vehicles or motorcycles are properly maintained and used responsibly.
Carry out additional operational duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements:-
Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience in security operations or security supervision is preferred.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Able to prepare basic reports and use WhatsApp or mobile reporting applications.
Physically fit, disciplined, honest, and responsible.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
Experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise building security operations will be an added advantage.
