Job Summary:

You'll build and maintain our internal platform on .NET and Azure. Our supply chain, marketing and leadership teams run the business on it. You'll work on web app features, marketplace integrations, data pipelines and AI-powered tools, working directly with business users to turn their needs into working software.

This role starts as a 24-month contract, and we intend to convert strong performers to full-time at the end of contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build features end to end across the Blazor UI, APIs, service layer and database.
• Develop background services that sync marketplace and inventory data.
• Integrate third-party APIs, primarily Amazon SP-API.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Azure; transform data across sources for integration and analytics.
• Optimise SQL queries and job performance on large SQL Server datasets.
• Generate Excel, PDF and CSV reports from production data.
• Monitor and resolve production issues using Azure Application Insights.
• Write efficient, reusable and scalable code; document solutions and explain them clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core) development
• Proficient with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Solid grasp of dependency injection, the repository pattern and service-layer architecture; confident extending a large existing codebase
• Experience with Azure (App Service, Blob Storage, SignalR), .NET Worker Services and Azure Pipelines
• Clear communicator in English and Mandarin, comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders (Mandarin is needed to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and suppliers)

Good to Have:

• Google Cloud experience (e.g. BigQuery, Cloud Run)
• Amazon SP-API or e-commerce marketplace integrations
• Telerik UI for Blazor
• CI/CD and release automation in Azure DevOps
• Advanced SQL performance tuning (bulk operations, window functions, indexing)
• AI agent development (LLM tool use, orchestration) and daily use of AI coding tools

Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
