Manager, Cyber Security

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber threat and vulnerability management activities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation tracking, and security reviews.
• Oversee security monitoring, SOC, EDR, MDR, and cybersecurity incident response activities.
• Work with IT and development teams to improve security posture and cyber resilience.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports, dashboards, KPIs, and risk updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Incident Response.
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security monitoring, security assessments, and cyber incident handling.
• Experience with security tools such as Nessus, CrowdStrike, Burp Suite, EDR/MDR, or similar platforms.
• Good knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS Controls, BNM RMiT, CSA CCM, or related frameworks.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.

Preferred

• Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated environments
